I’ve finally gotten down to my 8 hours a day :-) I now goto sleep at 12am every night. Week days I wake up at 8am and weekends at 9am. I am definitely so much more happy now that I’m getting the proper amount of sleep!! I have more energy and get a lot more done during the day. This experiment has been a great journey and I’m happy to have reached my goal. Hopefully everyone else’s experiment went this well :-)

Today I took my babies to the park in Miami. We were there pretty much the whole day, and it was so much fun. We got a lot of exercise in :-) so I’m sure we will all sleep like babies tonight. Yay :-)!!!

Going to bed at 11pm would of been SO HARD this week lol. I’m really happy I decided to make adjustments and get a better schedule to fit my needs. I feel so much better on a regular basis :) I now have more energy to keep up with the twins, so all is definitely well on my end.

Yes!!! I’ve made it down to 8.8 hours on average. It definitely helped to change my sleep time to 12am and wake up to 8am. That timeframe is much easier to stick with.

This site is one coach suggested and I thought I’d try it out. I’m currently doing most of the suggestions, which is great news :) So i now must cut down on my weekend naps…. Hmm that’s another task in itself haha.

DAY 15!!!!! 

So, this is where I stand at the half way mark. I’m logging, on average, 9.4 hours a night. My average bedtime is around 11:45, or so. My average wake up time is 8:50. I’m feeling pretty good about this experiment; it’s slowly starting to take form. I feel so much more tested when I get my full 8 hours. It’s amazing how much difference that makes!!! 
I’d say my only obstacle is myself, lol. I still tend to slack on getting to bed on time ;( which is why I’m altering the original times I had set up. 
I will now aim to be in bed by 12am and wake up at 8am. This makes more sense, considering its closer to the averages I’m currently pulling. 
Hopefully, my current progress along with these changes, will lead to my ultimate goal being achieved.

So I’m down to an average of 9.5 hours of sleep per night. That is still way too long, in my opinion. I want to be able to get the full 8 hours, and not much more. I feel like my days are so unproductive because I sleep so much!! Ugh..

I feel like progress is actually starting to form!! My average sleep time is 11:40 and average wake time is 8:48. That’s not where I want to end up, but it’s a great start compared to where I started. I must say going to bed on time is so much harder than waking up!! I love staying up late :( so its been hard. I proud of myself do far.

I feel like I’m finally making progress. I’ve been in bed before midnight(most nights) and I’m up before 9. I still have some time to go before I’m where I’d like to be. Exercising actually does help me sleep longer throughout the night, who would of guessed. My curtains also have made a world of difference :)

Took a nice walk, to relieve tension and get ready for bed. My research stated that a mild workout an hour before bed can help you sleep longer and better. We shall see ^___^

These are my multiple alarms I have set. My goal by 28 days is to be up by 7:00am everyday. Obviously, these wont be used right now lol But I’ll implement them starting next week. One step at a time :)

I downloaded this app called iHome+Sleep. It’s designed to be an alarm clock and sleep pattern tracker, all in one. Every time I goto bed, I will slide “bedtime” and as soon as I wake up I’ll slide over “wake up”. After each week I will post my sleep pattern graph to show my current progress. My goal this week is to just be in bed before 12am (which is a HUGE) struggle for me.  Haha. Let’s see how this goes.
